中国科学家精神体现了对马克思主义理论的守正创新以及对中华优秀传统文化的转化发展，是“两个结合”的重要精神产物和光辉典范。在“两个结合”视域下，中国科学家精神是在马克思主义科技观尤其是中国化时代化马克思主义科技观的指导、具有浓厚家国情怀的中华优秀传统文化的熏陶以及中国社会主义科技攻关实践的全力塑造中生成的。其基本特征表现为自我追求与时代使命的统一、科学精神和人文精神的良性融合、历史继承性和时代发展性相结合。其弘扬路径指向为:一是要以马克思主义和中国共产党的新时代使命为遵循，重点彰显中国科学家精神的红色基因;二是以中华优秀传统文化为纽带，深度诠释中国科学家精神的爱国特质和人文情怀;三是以“两个结合”为指引，增强中外科学家精神的交流互鉴，筑牢中国科学家精神的求实创新本色。以此讲好中国科学家故事、培育新时代中国科学家精神，为建设世界科技强国提供精神动力。

The spirit of Chinese scientists embodies the adherence to and innovation of Marxist theory as well as the transformation and development of excellent traditional Chinese culture,and it is an important spiritual product and shining example of the “Two Combinations ”. From the perspective of the “Two Combinations ”,the spirit of Chinese scientists is generated under the guidance of Marxist views on science and technology, especially the sinicized and modernized Marxist views on science and technology,the edification of excellent traditional Chinese culture with a strong sense of national sentiment,and the full shaping by China's socialist scientific and technological research practices. Its basic characteristics are manifested as the unity of self-pursuit and the mission of the times,the benign integration of scientific spirit and humanistic spirit,and the combination of historical inheritance and contemporary development. The path to promote it is as follows. Firstly,we must follow Marxism and the new era mission of the Communist Party of China,highlighting the red genes of the spirit of Chinese scientists. Secondly,we must use excellent traditional Chinese culture as a link to deeply interpret the patriotic qualities and humanistic sentiments of the spirit of Chinese scientists. Thirdly,guided by the “Two Integrations”,we must enhance the exchange and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign scientists' spirits,and consolidate the pragmatic and innovative characteristics of the spirit of Chinese scientists. In this way,we can tell the stories of Chinese scientists well,cultivate the spirit of Chinese scientists in the new era,and provide spiritual motivation for building a world powerful nation in science and technology.
